I would highly recommend "DigiXmas Directory submitter". It's quick and high robust. A tool I use on a regular basis.

is there any url harvester that can harvest the index page of our site and then save it in text file? i need that kind of software.

HTTrack Website Copier is a nice simple program to copy any website and save the html, images, and additional files located on the server.

You could set it to just index a single page, and then rename the .html file to a .txt file.

The reason (I don't have AllSubmitter) why you only get 1k is presumably: G only results max 1k per query, the rest is not shown up. So combine your query with some other keywords and you will get what you want. Maybe there are some tools which do not use G to harvest, but you would have to check in deep for that.

this may be a stupid question but lets say i harvest urls from google what programs can i put them in so i can use them... so if wanted to lets say get yahoo group links what program can i add the links in...

It depends on the urls you harvest. If you harvest blog urls, you will use them to make blog posts, so you need blog posting software. If you harvest webstats urls you would load them in to PRstorm or similar.

Decide what you want to do first and take it from there.
