Need urgen Ebay help ASAP

Hope some of you fine folks can help me out. I will try to give you some background info first.

Make a long story short: My GF wanted to sell Iphone Unlocking service on Ebay. She had an ebay account, but hit her limits very quickly. I have an ebay account, had it since 2003, so its matured, no limits. She begs me to let her use my ebay account to sell this "unlocking service". She also uses my Paypal account to get paid with. So it starts off ok, my paypal account gets filled up with money, I withdraw some... but now the shit hits the fan. The "source" she used for these "unlocks" never comes through, everyone who bought an unlock is claiming through paypal. My Ebay account get riddled with negatives. Prior to this, I was making good money selling novelties and stuff bough from Aliexpress. So I called Ebay and Paypal and told them the only thing I could.. That I was out of the country for a month and a half and when I got back, saw my account was compromised. Paypal refunded everyone, they were really helpful, but of course I am stuck with a negative paypal balance. My GF has pledged that she is gonna pay me back, so she should be coming through.

The problem is Ebay, they are full of morons. I called them multiple times. They claim I owe them $500 in listing fees, from these Iphone unlocks... One person said that it would be cleared, last person I talked to said that it would take time, in the meantime, I can't sell on ebay as my account is on hold due to the fact i owe almost $500 in fees.

I need to get back on Ebay, long and short of it, as I need to resume selling my novelties I import wholesale from China.

I am hoping someone here knows how to deal with Ebay, and if there is any hope that my account can be salvaged.. I had all 100% feedback, got up to Powerseller status, Top rated seller status, and now it looks like its f***ed.

not much you can do, just pay the fees and start rebuilding your reputation again, you will be lucky if ebay don't ban your account..

Just keep calling, maybe you will finally get someone more helpful

Well, the one lady said I didnt have to worry about the fees. If I do end up having to, I will but I am hoping they can void it.

They did remove all the negative feedback at one point, but then they put the account in below average as I had numerous ebay claims opened. Again though, they did an investigation and they do agree that my account was compromised.

I will be calling Ebay again, first thing I want to do is get paypal settled, then i can be in a better position when I deal with Ebay. I would hate to have to start over as this accout is very mature with zero selling limits.

Looks like you need to start thinking about going stealth.

Listing fees: By this you mean the cost incurred for posting the listing, not final value fees? If you have used ebay to list an item to which fell through or was listed without your consent then you may have grounds to revoke this expense.. NEVER call general customer support, they are rubbish, in Australia we have a business line 1800 358 084 - this takes you to eBay business support. Regarding the negative feedbacks, if eBay agree you ATTEMPTED to provided a service with good intention (I.e an affidavit from the supplier) then they should be revoked, however this process of "building a reputation" is farcical, eBay's best match algorithm will kill your search standings if your account is riddled with Negs thus you wont get much action at all. My suggestion for the immediate future is to reg a PO box and create another account. Sell from that one until you resolve this issue otherwise its a bad headache for you and alot of work for nothing.
