can someone tell me how to use backlinks to get your video ranked higher?
I understand that backlinks are actually links to your video posted on other sites. Do I just spam random forums? I heard there is some software that does that automatically. Forgot what's it called. Any help is appreciated.

Are you looking to get that ranked in the SERPS? or just YouTube?

I doubt if backlinks outside YT helps in ranking videos in YT search. I may be mistaken though.

I'm just looking at Youtube, don't even know what SERPS is...
 
There are lots of backlink tutorials around. simply do a search. You build backlinks to your YT videos the same way as you build backlinks to any other site.

Take in mind that the faster way to rank your videos is not by backlinks but by receiving likes/comments/subscribes. You can either buy these from a provider here in the BST or join a system like Enhanceviews, Youlikehits and etc.. and get them for free
 
The best way to be high ranked is to get traffic on your video. I can provide views at a very good price.

Optimize your youtube video.. Title, description .. be sure your video is in quality and highly engaging and traffic will come along. As like other said, you can join sites that offer youtube views or like or share for a price. Goodluck
