Need to start some Web 2.0 sites but need help

I am about to start web 2.0 but I need some help. I am creating it for seo purposes. (I mean linking it to my money site).
Pls help me answer this questions.
1) I heard about creating a squidoo account, looking for high pr squidoo lens, then adding to list. My question is when you click add to list, what link will you add in the box. Is it your money site url or your squidoo lens? Pls I don't know this.
2). Starting a wordpress.com site then when the site gets a High Pr pagerank, do I just 301 direct it to my money site?
Pls I need help on this questions.

1) It's better to create an account to create lens, and you link to your site in from the lens it self.

2) You cannot redirect wordpress.com minisite to your website, instead write high quality articles and include your link in it.

Just create accounts for both, put some decent quality content on there and include your link once somewhere in a paragraph. Super easy and they are strong links.
