Guys,

I dont know if i've posted this in right section or not but here is my question.

I need to send $5000 to someone in India from Australia and vice-versa, quick and safe as possible.

Please suggest me the mediums ..if you know any.

Also i've heard about xoom [dt] kom ... Is it Reliable and Fast ?

Never done Bank wire.. but is it instant.. How long will it take ?

yea, if you're lucky
or if you're unlucky they deduct the whole and hold it for 180 days for some non-existent security reason for your "protection"
paypal is a big NO

try wire instead or WU (but use WU with caution as you can't do chargebacks with it and it will also deduct a good chunk)

That's why it important to ask from real cowboys...

Basically i am looking something that send the money without too much hassle .. !

So till now,

Paypal is Out
WU is Out
Wire is still doubtful.. ?
 
I wire all my large transfers. Would a paypal masspay work?

Remember that there is a limits when you are sending money from another paypal account into another! Limit was something like 1000$, you can get limit oway, but it takes 2 - 4 days to get limits off.

You could use escrow, but they will take a 162.50 commission for 5k
 
I have done international transfers from different parts of the world before and the best way to do it is bank wire. Try to combine payments if you have to rather than sending more wires to avoid the flat wire fees.
 
Bank wire or western union. You would have to be stupid to Paypal that amount
 
moneybookers, i have dealt with them , xoom is legit as well.
why not do western union
 
I'm located in Canada and was dealing with a website owner in the Ukraine - had a banner on their site - for a number of years and I paid them using Xoom.

Once you get the banking details ironed out it's a simple process and the fee's don't stick in my mind as being very large.

Bottom line is that it worked great for me to send cash around the world and it may work for you too.
