What is the best free tool you use for dvd ripping?
Thanks in advance

dvd decrypter & dvd shrink

all of them are discontinued, but i guess you can still find download links and howtos

i used to use them to make backup copies from my original dvds ROFL

agree with HoNeYBirRD i use dvd shrink to make copie of my original dvd, dvd shrink also avoid protect of original dvd :

Haha, I haven't 'backed up' a DVD in years.

i remember in high school I ran a small racket hiring DVD's ripping them to VCD and then selling them, but that was in like 2002.

There are plenty of quick and easy DVD rippers out there, but DVD Shrink is probably one of the better ones.

aah.. ripping DVDS.. remember that well.. good old Lightening UK - the master coder who coded DVD Decrypter and now is responsible for IMGburn..:)

If it doesn't have strong copyright protection then DVD shrink is usually the fastest, and you still need DVD decrypter because DVD shrink uses it to burn the DVD.

If the DVD has better copy protection then try DVD Fab. The full version is a paid program but the decrypter part of DVD Fab is free. It can break the protection on a lot of DVDs that DVD decrypter can't.

Disclaimer: This information is only provided as education about to make back up copies to protect your own DVD collection. It is not intended as help for pirating DVDs. That is of course illegal and not condoned. Use these programs at your own risk. :cool2:
