Hi guys,

I'm relatively new to this whole Black Hat gig and was previously one of the chumps running themselves into the ground trying to abide by ever-changing guidelines.

A client of mine is getting a bit nervous about the stagnation of his target keyword, a competitive term in the storage industry.

I've thrown some high PR backlinks at this website over the last few weeks but need to generate a little extra positive movement over the next week. The anchor text profile of the site is all good so no worries about throwing a couple more links at it.

What would you guys recommend? Do you have any preferred services for short term results?

Thanks in advance.:You_Rock_

Does your client know you are looking for "short term" results?

Sorry I should have been more clear.. I mean results in a short amount of time, not results for a short amount of time.

There's a good chance that if you order a service here it won't even be done within a week - let alone seeing results.

With that being said I would find something to get you more links just let your client know that a week in SEO is basically no time at all - you can't really expect anything in a week..

Do some proper on page seo first, then try some some services providing fast rank with churn and burn method.

One week is not going to cut it, even if you mass spam it.

Not even sure why you are getting a client if you clearly have no clue about what you are doing.
That phrase makes no sense.

results in a short amount of time LEADS to results for a short amount of time

Think twice and tell your client about the risks from these techniques.

Okay I get that, I probably should've put more thought into the thread before I posted it. Like I said, I'm pretty new to this side of marketing.

I'm not looking to move mountains here, all the on-site work has been done and now we are at the money end of the campaign, the client is fully aware of the risks that are involved with services like this so don't worry about that.

Okay thanks for the reply.

A week really is the worst case scenario with this client, I probably have another month maybe to generate more positive movement.

I would recommend high pr domain redirects and then building links using those domains in blog networks, articles, press releases etc. It will definitely boost your rankings. I have couple of more SEO strategies in mind that may yield good SEO results in the shortest possible time. Pm me if you wish to discuss more.
