Yes, people do make money having hundreds on parked domain names by placing ads, pretty much direct traffic that converts into clicks which is why people are getting paid.

If you are new to the game, all of the direct navigation (type in traffic domains) are gone. You might get lucky with one or two, but don't quit your day job. Used to be domain tasting and massive domain name portfolios with daily traffic you could just sit on. That's all consolidated.

These days, if you want to make money with domain parking, you have to arb. It's not impossible, but it's a lot of work and you have to stay on it every day. Once you get started and have a system though, then its just a matter of how big you want to scale it.

Yes its profitable but you usually need high volume traffic and a good portfolio of domains....check out Redirect.com

Basically, those who JV for domain parking accounts does the BH way. They register high CPC keyword domains, park on partner parking accounts, buy and forward cheap traffic to the PPC ads on the domain park landing page. Its like arbitraging. They spend $1 then in turn earns $2 on their parking accounts. Most parking companies prohibits this activity but there are always workaround.

Its better to use Google Adsence than going for a Domain parking. Domain parking never pays off good except few pennies at the end of the year.
