Don't make it harder than it has to be. It's all about traffic.
Figure you need 100 - 200 visitors to a vendor's sales page in order to make 1 sale.
If you make $20 per sale as your CB commission, then you need 2 sales a day to hit $40.
Thus you'll need 200 - 400 visitors to the vendor's sales page, every day.

This jives with what I'm seeing with my ebook and sales page. (see above) And that's TARGETED visitors, not just random people from a blog somewhere. I'm still getting more organic sales than from my adwords "campaign". It's a small niche, so you can only wring so much blood out of this stone.

I've just started promoting clickbank 3 months ago, and had 1 or 2 sales per day using squidoo lenses and social bookmarks to a redirect script.
But the last couple of weeks have been very slow. I'm trying a new method now, I've made a script that builds rss feeds from the clickbank xml file and post those to twitter using twitterfeed.
I used CBRSS first (actually bought it) but decided to build something myself.
After a few weeks of coding (i'm a php noob ) I've put www.cbfeed.com online.
The first hops are beginning to trickle in and I even made the first sales via twitter.
I hope this will become a nice addition next to my autoblogs.
Although it takes some time to build a twitter account to around 1500 followers I think it will be worth the effort.

sell something thats actually worth a damn and thats informative or else you'll most likely get high return rates which is something you dont want. it would also help to keep the commission paid above 65% if you want to have any chance. spend more than 2 minutes on the sales page to because every sales page ive seen on cb look like a 3 year old made it up. a shitty selling page doesnt help!!!

I think video marketing works best. Download 4-5 videos, watermark your website, upload to 4-5 video site, redirect to affiliate link from your website, earn earn and earn more!!
