Need To Destroy A Former-Client's Wordpress Site

I have a former client who has decided that he doesn't want to pay his invoices anymore. He always paid before, but he has over-leveraged his business in the last month and (even though I made him over $100,000 last year ... and only owes me less than $10,000) he sent me an email telling me that he doesn't owe me the money.

It's incredible!

I already called him on the phone and he acted like an idiot... like he had no idea that he owed me the money ... and we've also exchanged mutliple emails ... again ... pulling the "i don't know what you're talking about" routine.

It's incredible (once again).

I talked to my attorney about it ... and he said that the cost of me sueing this guy is gonna' cost more than just eating it.

Bottom line ...

... I wanna destroy this c*&k sucker.

I need something that I can put on his Wordpress install that will destroy his website. I can't just remove it outright because he's a litigious bastard and he'll try to take me to court if I just remove it. So I need something that I can upload to his site that looks like a virus from another country ... like's it's really been hacked. And I can just say "I quit keeping backups a few months ago when you quit paying your bills ... sorry you got hacked but there's nothing I can do about it."

Can anyone help me out?

Find what his religious beliefs are, then delete all the files on the host and make it look like some religious "hacker" hacked his website.
E.g.: If he's christian, get some muslim hacker's index.html file.
That won't get traced to you, as long as you use another IP (the hosts keep IP logs).
 
You went a year ... called him on the phone, and (after 1 year) he acted like he didn't owe any money.

... and that is when someone learned the value of communication!

Sorry man but if you haven't called me in a year I'd be wondering why I owe you anything too.

If you really made him $100k then why aren't you making your own website and keeping not only your lost $10k but the extra 90k on top of it?

Doesn't add up or I'm missing something.
 
Firstly, if you are a proper business man, you would have made your client sign a contract about your service to him. In the contract, you would have terms and conditions of service and payment. But you did not do this. I will advice you to take it as a lesson. Next time when you want to deal with someone, you must act professionally.
 
Small claims court? Destroying his website might lead to you in a lot of hot water so why not
a. sue in small claims court
b. open a competing site and outsell him
c. do a and b!

Do you have email communications to back up your claims? Paper trail? if you do just shut down his site, let him sue you. You don't need a contract for an agreement to be enforce by the courts.

If you don't have anything to back up your compensation claims, then you can claim that he didn't pay his hosting bill and take down his site.

Forget him and move on. Best thing to do by far. Or take a hiking trip over the wekend. It will distract your mind.
 
If you have undeniable proof how would you not be able to sue him and recover your attorneys fees?
 
yeah either sue or if you are so good at making other people money make your own sites. simple as that. revenge will just delay your success.

best solution:

1) take his phone number and add it to a lot of sites (he will start getting calls like no tomorrow)
2) take his email and use a max spammer bot (he will not be able to do any more email business)

you should also post on ever scam report form using his name, address, and website saying he is a scamer, he will not pay etc.
 
I vote for opening competing sites and drop the dude by about 2 pages! Nothing illegal about that! Shoudn't take long for him to lose more than 10K and feel how you feel.

Can't you spam his links and get him de-indexed?

I like the hosting attack too. There's all kinds of good stuff to be done.
 
Just install WordFence plugin, then put the cahching to 99999999 instead of 250.
I accidentally did that, and it took up over 25+ cores on the hosts CPU. They actually put my account on hold because of it.

Is you really want, just install 1000 plugins and make his site super slow.
Or, just simply deface it.
 
Don't hack it. Begging for trouble.

You could revert back to the wordpress version that was current when he stopped paying you. And set the admin password to "password" Hahah
 
Undo your work and ruin his on page SEO. Give yourself 2 hours and then move on.
 
You could chalk it up to a learning experience and keep it from happening again! Don't want to reflect something that could be done to you.

If you made him 100k last year, you're clearly privvy to keywords, what ranked, what didn't, really the whole shabang.

Simply try to match his success. You literally are on the inside, even at half his success, you're looking at 50k.

No need to slay the beast when you can become the beast.

Didn't you have a contract with this guy? The whole story seems a bit fishy to me to be honest
 
Create a similar site then add a script/plugin to his site that will redirect search traffic to your site.
