Need to create a youtube account but have questions

Hello all ,

I am about to create a youtube channel ,
i waned to know a few things , there are elections in our country soon (India) and we've seen that the govt has filed cases (police or court action) on people who are critical to the government ,
i was planning to start a video channel with some small video series ,
my problem is i'm unable to create a google account without using my phone number , however ,
i could create it on my mobile ,
but when we create an account on my mobile , what details would google have ?
will google have our IMEI too ? (mine is an android phone of course)
also , if the govt asks for user details , what details does google forward?

try to get an aged account. your idea is good but with a new account you will loose time.

How do you plan on showing these videos? Using your voice or face? Or you just want to simply copy videos of the 'election?" I dont know m,uch about your country but if you re copying videos you need to be sure they re not copyrighted.
I don't think google will share your personal details if you have not opted to share it. Better still you could get an anonymous sim card online or wherever and use that simply for the channel.
google does not have your IMEI, but with most numbers if they re registered in your name then the obvious.
Or better still, avoid anything that could potentially get you in trouble, find another niche. Just my opinion.
 
I doubt you will be caught for that and government/police wont even care about you unless you are doing something that can create disturbance or can be a cause of riots or related. Yeah but you can get your videos taken down if the social media team of certain political party may find it too disturbing and created for the sole purpose of defaming them.

Best would be to just get an aged account, a VPS if you are that cautious or just do not do that.
 
Are you planning to release videos against the govt or particular political person ? So the reason you worrying to add your mobile number in it ? If so then better use aged account to post videos ..
 
Agreed are you planing on using this against the Gov cause other wise i don't see why they would be against you
 
Buy aged channel 2016-2018 for the cheapest then use free Amazon Vps. Fresh channels are useless bro
Btw what youre gonna do with those account?

I use not a vps , but a cloud instance for daily work , so that covers the vpn part ,
It won't be anything illegal , secondly , i'd release videos that could severly criticize the current government and could solve two very big problems in our country ,
in short , people would laugh at them once a common man would solve the problems and not the govt ,
so they'd have all reasons to find out "who" did that and at least get him in their side or whatever ,
i've seen that people critical to the govt were just randomly arrested for posting videos on youtube or some police cases have been filed on them , as i see that i don't need to monetize the account at all , as i'm not looking out for money from youtube for now .

That's a great idea for a YouTube channel. As the others have said, you'll want to buy an old channel and rebrand it. Hope everything turns out alright, good luck!
