Need to bump up my site from page 7...

I have a certain keyword i want to move up from page 7.
My site is #1 for the "domain name" keyword search but i want to get front page for main keyword as well (the shorter version)

What is the best method to do this?

I've done the squidoo,hubpages, stuff what else could i do for to help raise it up.

well i could spend a little money if its worth it. i've spent some and it hasnt bumped up many rankings yet

backlink stuff. find forums or blogs with your keyword in it and put your optimized post in there. drive traffic to your hub pages too. become the authority site.

get seoquake for your browser. type your keyword into google and see what the #1,2,3, etc pages are doing. do everything they do on top of what you already do. you even know what pages to link from to make you number 1! how easy is that?

type all your competitors url into semrush and find what keywords they have working for them. optimize your stuff. use your #1 competitor as your standard line and build from there. all you have to do is already in front of you. get there first then build upon that

Also it's going to depend on the keyword. For example if the keyword is making money online good luck with that

Tweak your <h1> tags, your keywords and get a tons of backlinks.

That's how it's done!

My motto is always to match and then better my competition.

The good thing about SEO is that a lot of it cannot be hidden...so you can follow on the coat tails of your competitors and then overtake them as they tire!

Find who is 1,2 and 3 for the keyword you are after, then search in google for (in quotes) "theirdomain.com"

Then you'll see the directories they are in, and the social bookmarking they have done.

Its a great starting point...hope it helps...

i am not promoting anything or so.
but forum generator by blackhatzen will do it for oyu.
because it can literally provide you hundreds of anchor text links.
also,if you want something free then search for Linkwheel.
