Hi everyone. Here's the deal. A friend of mine who does insurance has offered me $100 for EACH lead I bring to her. The person who meets her also receives $100, even if they end up not signing any plans with her. This is what attracts people to meet her.

In order to keep this sustainable and long-term, I am trying to give her quality leads. People who are genuinely interested in signing up for insurance plans, people who are reconsidering their current plans, people who feel like they are overpaying for their insurance and not getting enough coverage.

Reason for this is, if I continuously only give her people who are in it for the $100, it is definitely not going to last.

I've shared with many of my friends, families, and acquaintances already and have gotten quite a large sum of commission. But these dry out. So I'm looking at going public with it - Local forums, Social Media, Classified's sites, etcetc.

However, I need a method of trying to filter out people who are genuinely interested. Or at least, open to actually listening to her to see if she can offer them something better than what they currently have and not just for the $100.

I'd like to know how some of you guys would go about this. It really is easy money. Just 10 people meeting her a month is a good $1000. But I want to keep this going for as long as I can.

Also, since it's insurance, my leads have to be based locally.

Dont you think she is trying to fool you?

Who is trying to fool me? My Friend who’s supposed to give me the $100 per lead? If so, nope. I’ve been doing this for a few months with her already and I get paid on the spot after she meets them.

Which is the part that doesn’t make sense?
I’ll be glad to clarify.

The leads weren’t shitty. Initially when we discussed, she told me not to filter anyone. Just give her anyone I can find. So I did.

She has not complained about the quality of the leads. It’s me. I am the one who wants to deal her better leads so that I can make this long term. Clearly, if she gains nothing out of this and is constantly giving away $200 ($100 to me and $100 to the other party) then she’s definitely not going to continue this. So I’m trying to prevent that from happening by finding quality leads.

All of the leads I’ve given her so far are friends, family and acquaintances - mostly friends of friends. And all of them have been paid on the day itself. As I’m constantly checking in with them, I would know.

FB ads..... do a give away.

Qualify people...

"Give me 1 hour to show you how I can save you money by changing insurance provider. If you like what you hear, then sign up and get a $100 amazon voucher! If you don't want to sign up to anything, that's cool too - you'll still get a free $100 voucher!

Message me to learn more".

Keep it simple.

Another way to generate qualified leads is to use facebook ads + survey gizmo.

i.e Ad:

"See if you qualify for a FREE $100 vouch to spend on anything you want!

Complete this short survey to see if you qualify"

Then the ad takes them to survey gizmo and it asks them like 5 pre-qualifying questions that would mean you only get the best and most targeted leads - and you can set rules so that it disqualifies everyone else.

like

"How old are you? 18-21, 21-25, 25-35, 35-65"

"Are you a renter or mortgage holder?"

"Who is your current insurance policy holder? x company, abc company or don't have insurance."

"Would you be willing to talk about your current insurance and find out how you can save over $1000+ ever year on your insurance?"

"Your name?"

"Your mobile contact number?"

Keep it to less than 8 questions including the name/number/email.

................

That's the meat of the method. You're welcome - I paid a online mentor $1000 to teach me this method and it has made me thousands of dollars in return - IT WORKS! :) You got it for free. I highly recommend you test it out.

Good luck

Exactly the kind of answer I was looking for. I've never meddled with surveys before but I guess I have a reason to now. Thank you for the insights, greatly appreciated!

EDIT: If anyone else has any other kind of method they'd like to share as well, I'm all ears.

Will this kind of ad work for SEO ?

What do you mean by SEO? You want to sell SEO services?

As long as you have a tempting offer - i.e get 10 high PR, low out bound, target links worth $200+ for FREE....

and you make sure you only give the offer to people that are most likely to convert for you (i.e people that match your current paying customer base - maybe you'll have to ask how much they've spent on SEO in the last 12 months, what niche they are in, what they'd be prepared to spend on SEO every month... so that root out the tire kickers and freebie seekers. But essentially, yes.... you can make it work in almost any niche if you just have a great offer.

She probably believes in her sales skills. And, that's okay.
You do you, this could work out very well for both of you.
