Need tips/advice.

So I started by SEO/Social Media consultancy back in February and I currently have only 4 clients (in talks with the 5th one). The best part about my service is that I offer guaranteed first page rankings in all my contracts. That's what has been getting me the business.

However, the problem is, my team and I are based here in India. And businesses here are not willing to spend a lot on SEO as it's not too popular around here. I need to target businesses from the US, UK, AUS and other parts of the world.

To get the clients I currently have, I used Craigslist and Freelancer. But it's getting difficult day by day to get clients off these sites. I tried getting affiliates to work with me for 10% of the contract value, but did not manage to get anyone who really knows how to get the job done. I am still looking for people who can get me clients and get a cut off monthly fees I charge or even resellers who can buy my guaranteed seo services, and sell them for higher.

Moreover, I am planning on asking my current clients to refer me to other businesses in their area. However, I would have to wait till I achieve their targets and I'm not even sure if they can refer me to other businesses.

Any other ideas that you guys could come up with for marketing my consultancy from here? Interested affilaites/resellers pleas get in touch. Experts/seo consultants - help me out!

Why don't you setup a professional website for your business that target US/UK/AU businesses and make your website rank higher with your SEO skills, that way you will be able to expand your business.

Yes, I am planning on that. I'm planning on ranking fro long-tail keywords which are location targeted. My guys would be starting a campaign on the 15th of June!

First, I don't think you should be guaranteeing businesses a 1st page ranking, as you don't control Google's rankings. The latest update to Google's algorithms have proven how easily a site can be wiped out of the rankings any day. I'm not sure what the terms of your contracts are, but you've potentially set yourself up to be sued or have to refund all the money these clients have paid you if their sites don't reach the 1st page of Google.

As for getting new clients, you should definitely ask your current clients to refer some business to you. That's how a lot of off liners are earning new clients. And if you haven't already, you should have your company set up as a legitimate business, especially if you're going to be doing business overseas here in the U.S. Good luck.
