Need suggestions for high config. PC requirements...

Well it is always best to keep free slots for further upgrade so I would go with 2*16 on a 4 slots motherboard.
Here I have 8 slots so I'm on 4*8 GB.

RAM wise go with a 2133 mhz with the lowest CAS you can find in an acceptable price point (don't waste too much money on this though). CHeck whether your motherboard and CPU supports such speed (it will more likely but better be sure or it would be underclocked)

So even if I end up with 13 or 14 CAS it wont matter?

Saying because the motherboard only supports DDR 4 with 2133 mhz.

The 2133 mhz with low CAS will be perfect, the one in newegg sounds about right. I didn't check the current consumer grade RAM so i'm not quite aware of what it is available, but i do know that Corsair Vengeance are usually having a low CAS. I mean there are very few limitations involved at these type of frequencies. You opted for a DDR4 system which is indeed the right approach.
 
Since I live in India, is there any need for surge protector or UPS is more than enough?
 
Its worth getting anywhere, they usually come with a free protection plan for 5 years(not totally sure if its offered in India)

I know for a fact that I will not utilize 850W of PSU but let's say 400-450 gets used, what then?

Now if you guys can checkout the specification of both the stuff, I have one doubt...the cabinet can take power supply ATX but the PSU says Intel Form Factor ATX 12V V2.31....so does that mean the cabinet I am going with will be able to handle this PSU?

so I have opted for i7 7700 kaby lake and ASUS Z170-AR M/B...my only concern is that the computer guy has only 3000Mhz Corsair RAM available...as I am going with DDR4 32GB(16 into 2)....do you think 3000Mhz is a lot considering the processor is not K? Will I need to make some changes in BIOS?
 
My one concern is that about dual channel RAM...my motherboard supports 64GB RAM nd I am looking to install 32GB RAM...means 2 into 16 right?

Now since I want 32GB RAM...I cannot find any 2 into 16 ones...so should I go with 2 into 8 and 2 into 8..which shud make it 32GB RAM as I have no choice..also since I got no way to go for 2 into 16...then which one is good 2 into 8 and 2 into 8 or 4 into 8...since me looking for 32GB!

But dont you think I am also wasting other 32GB? please help!

Also cannot seem to find a good Amazon supplier for India for this product :(
 
Few months ago I went with my own server with 2 x e5

Now you can build fantastic workstation and for less money since AMD released 8 core Ryzen for 2-3-4 times less money than Intel

Also you dont need EEC ram as in real world the normal ram won't give any errors (not that you will host sites on the PC but)

Go ddr4 3000+ MHz - its fast and its up to date with the new motherboards

Now I dont know if You have bought any parts yet (sorry didnt read the whole thing, but saw u have bost 40 mins ago) but here are my 2 cents

1st and most important - get great PSU - good energy for all your parts.

2nd - get 32gb+ ram as I found 16gb isnt doing good job for a lot of tasks

3rd - Getting the new Ryzen is a no brainer for these money

4th - Get a Wi-fi Adapter - If my Lan Fails it automatically gets my 4g as a backup (havent test it with real life internet drop but I plugged out the cable and it took the wifie in 2 sec). Now, my lan hasn't failed yet but for 20$ its good + to asure good uptime for my sites.

5th - Get a GPU - few weeks I was with my MB GPU but getting GTX 1050ti was good option since I am doing few photoshop projects and after effects projects too... + I get it for 109$ - again no brainer for 4gb card.

6th - Get DUST PROOF case with GOOD AIR FLOW - very important. My advice is to get Thermaltake cases as most of them have magnetic dustproof filters on every side.

7th - Get M2 - its faster than normal SSD and there wont be more cables and get another storage for backup + dont forget to use cloud as backup

P.S You can change to micro MB and get the Thermaltake v21 - it is more compact (I find v71 very big case for a workstation but it does the job great). If you also want to use this build for gaming all you have to do is to change the GPU (for 1080ti for example) and you still won't hit 3000$
