Need Suggestion

I met with an economist a few days ago. He wants to publish his book online and it will be around 4-5 volumes at least. Can anyone give some insights into where it should be launched? Channels like Amazon, I don't feel would be a good option for such a book.

Amazon is a great platform for selling books, but it might not be the best fit for such a large, academic book. I recommend online bookstores specializing in academic works such as JSTOR, Project MUSE, or Oxford University Press. These platforms cater to a niche audience interested in scholarly works.

Amazon is a great place, heck it started out life as a book store online. It'll get the name known if the books are good and then help get a publisher long term.
