Need Suggestion About Amazon Affiliate site

Hi Guys,

I've started working on amazon affiliate site and this is my first site. I've registered domain 8 month ago & made site 5 month ago. Since then I am working on it.

I've sent PR,web 2.0,comment,profile links and a PBN link. My main KW i.e. Best + review is in under 100 now,though it's dancing. It has keyword competition almost 40 in LTP and in KWfinder.com

Top 10 results have only 1 affiliate site and that is 2.1 year old,rest sites are authority sites and average 10 to 15 year old.

I want to ask have I selected wrong niche? Will it be so hard to rank ? Should I move on from this site and start something new? I already invested 400$ in this site.

I really want to decide should I stick or move on,if anybody want I can message him my niche KW.

I seriously need help in this.

Of course. You are targeting a keyword with authority sites in the 1st page.

Give it up and change to a lesser comp niche.

So your keyword best + product has a difficulty of 40?? If that is the case I would not put anymore money into it myself. Are you getting any traffic? Possible to recoup your money by just leaving the site up and making some sales or adsense? How many articles? How many words? There might be ways to get traffic for other keywords besides your main one. Like I said, just looking at ways to recoup your investment even if it takes awhile.

Yes my keyword that is Best + product had difficulty of 40. I am not getting any traffic yet,if I was getting some traffic I would have got sales. Few long tail keywords are ranking from 2nd to 10th page but they are related product keywords and have very little search volume like 10 to 100,again for them also many authority sites are ranking on 1st page. That's good idea to get traffic from other keywords besides main one.
