been a 100% feedback user for 8 years. and i got the mc999 recently. no good reason. been a legit seller since the beginning.

tried sorting it out with ebay, but of course received no response. livelihood is threatened.

need an account. not too worried about limits. 50/$5000 should be more than enough for right now.

it'd be nice to have someone who could maybe add a little insight too. I've been reading up but want to be asurd that I'm operating problem-free.
Unable to send PM due to being a new user. So PM me info.

    Thanks guys!

Seems harmless. what was the reason why they banned you?

    major details left aside...

spouse had old account. i started selling on that one. during this time, i opened up my own store, because I wanted to make it my own, and make it an actual job. bought the store subscription not realizing there'd be limits. had to sit on the new account over the holiday. after holiday season, my new store limits were raised, i moved all of my items on spouses account to my new store. Month later, suspended. American Exec CS said he didnt think I was shady but said there was nothing he could do. Told me to appeal. Never heard from them....
Never had issues. Always honored returns. Never had issues with customers. Ebay says it didnt matter. I made plenty of novice mistakes when starting Ebay, but I never had an issue with my customers.

Did you take new pics and write new descriptions when you moved merchandise across to your account? eBay kind of freaks out when you do put up exact same listings over multiple accounts. eBay has bots that flag stuff like that. Get a new stealth account and get going again. It shouldn't be that difficult, but it will take you about 6 months to build a new account to where you can ship electronics without issues.

That sounds really strange - electronics are risky, but even on a new account they shouldn't permanently suspend you for items you listed, unless the items were extremely high risk (VERO items).

Yeah, moving all items from one account to another is a bit of a red flag, but again that's not something that should cause a permanent suspension, especially if the account is at least a few months old. You get permanently suspended for being linked to another suspended account, for violating copyrights (VERO items, fake items, etc), or for severely breaking their rules. But having multiple accounts (as long as they all are in good standing) isn't against the rules and it's definitely okay for everyone in your household to have an account (again, assuming everyone's account is in good standing).

What ever happened to your spouse's account? They would have suspended that one as well.

I'm not sure if you meant that the account that was suspended was 8 years old, or you were referencing to your spouse's account there, but if the suspended account is indeed 8 years old then I wouldn't let it go so easily especially if all you were guilty of is moving products from one account to another. If you have time I would keep calling. Using US reps are more helpful, but you can definitely find some helpful overseas reps as well. Just be polite and make sure you're talking to someone in power such as a supervisor or an account specialist. Different reps will say different things, so you may be able to find one that's on your side.
