So I've tried both of these now and not satisfied with either.

Is there anything out there that will simply take an eBay search result page and convert it into listings?

If eBay provided RSS feeds for all search result pages it would be easier but they don't apparently...

The alternative I suppose could be usign the api but i don't even know if the api supports sophisticated queries.

what i want o be able to do for example is have separte listings for 'new' and 'used' items. the ebay web site will let you do that. i dont see anything in phpbay or bans that lets you do that. does the api let you do that? anybody?

actually i just found out what it was. they had opted me into the 'new search experience' which was their sneaky beta i guess. i'm assuming because it's some kind of beta it doesn't include rss feeds. i didn't notice they had switched me over to the beta so i thought some searches didn't have rss feeds. i guess they might all have them. but we'll have to wait and see when they roll out the new search completely

which sort of sucks because i wanted to get started with this thing and now i have to wait for it to come out of beta. the new search experience is better because it has additional filters like 'new','used', which is what i was interested in getting an rss feed for...
