Need some Twitter advice.

Hey All-

I have a Twitter account that has 1,000+ Followers with about half being fakes (I am following around 200). I am having great results with following/unfollowing, but I have been blocked once and now simply can not go fast enough to get the followers numbers I want.
My question is how many people should I follow at a time and how often should I unfollow without Twitter blocking me? Should I buy more fake followers so that I can follow more people? All help would be greatly appreciated.

I say follow between 100-200 now and when you reached 2000 followers go follow 600-800 a day. I also recommend favoriting as well, there's a script here on bhw. Using the favorites actually helped me gain an extra 100-200 followers depending on your niche that is.
 
increasing your followers is not going to help raise the limit that twitter has set.

Would it be ok to just buy 1,000 to get to 2,000 or is it more beneficial for me to wait until I get to that number organically?

Keep going with the 100-200 follows/day until you have reached 2000+. After that it should be fairly safe to follow around 900-1000 a day. From my experience twitter won't ban you after you have more than 2000 followers... they only block your ability to follow for 24 hours if you hit your limit
 
Yes, buying 1000 or 2000 will help you beat the limit in the short term so that you can follow more quickly.
 
100-200 is safe. But usually twitter bans come from user reports not API limits being reached. Try and make your profile seem as human as possible to minimise reports.
 
1000-2000 doesnt matter bt you should increase your activity also .
 
OP i would advice you not to add anymore fake followers for one..

Dont follow more than 200-250 followers in a day and post few tweets everyday..
