Need some starting guidance

I apologize firstly if this sounds like a spoon feeding beg thread, but it really isn't. I've been reading a lot on these forums and feel pretty much overwhelmed with all the different methods of making money online and my trouble is where do I start basically. If you guys could give a beginner as much as a "beginning point" I would greatly appreciate it. I know most of you guys think that failing and just going for it is the best method of learning which makes sense, but I also don't want to go over my head and start with something that is something an advanced IM'er would be doing. What are some "basic" or "beginner methods" I should be looking into?

First of all, welcome to the forum You said you've been reading around here for a while now, is there any particular section of IM that you have seen that interests you, or that you would like to try your hand at? For example, Adsense, Pay Per Download, CPA, Adult related etc. There are so many branches, it is difficult to know where to begin, and therefore where to direct you.

I've always been interested in youtube if that helps. It seems really fun to be a fairly well known youtuber but also making some money off that would be pretty awesome.

We can't really tell you what method you should use to make money, search the forum a bit, get familiarised a bit more with IM and see which methods interest you the most. As for methods for beginners, there are hundreds of methods which work in the Making Money section, most of which are very easy.

Have you got any capital to work with?

I was once in your position, there were so many methods I didn't know where to start. Thankfully since I already had hosting and a domain I decided to go with adsense. I created a site and I'm slowly working on it. The earning aren't too good but I'm working on improving them. If I was to repeat the whole process I'd start with facebook, facebook requires no money to start, only time. You can build facebook accounts to promote facebook pages, you can then sell the accounts for up to $100 or sell the pages. You can even monetize it by using mylikes, they pay straight to paypal.

Alright, I will make sure to do some more research. I can see why a lot of people are not successful in IM. They never get into it in the first place due to feeling the way I'm feeling right now

I read a lot about those facebook pages, and I'm sure I already have a lot of them "liked" on my personal fb. I just need to read more about marketing and getting them popular haha

Youtube is a good source of traffic that you can make money from. Here are a couple of methods that use youtube, but there are many more, probably better ones here in the forum. I haven't used Youtube before, but I'm sure other members could direct you to some, better, methods.

There is another way to make money on youtube, and perhaps this is what you mean, to become a well known youtuber, recording yourself and making your own videos and building a fan base who genuinely want to watch your videos. I don't know if you'll find much of that in BHW, but that would be slow in making money, and requires dedication. But it can be profitable if you build up a large following. They even say that that Beiber person started on youtube, but I've never looked close enough to see if its true
