Need some noob help.

Hi everyone. Been reading for awhile but have some questions so I can get clarity on a few things.

All those people offering backlinks...it's a blackhat technique so from my understanding, you never make backlinks to your money site right?

You make a few small sites that link back to the money site and blackhat backlink to those??

When someone asks you for 3 links and gives you x amount of backlinks, they mean 3 intermediate sites and not deeplinks to your main site??

It all depends on the quality of the links. If you can get a good link from a respected site you want to link directly to your money site.
If you are buying a comment blast, link to 2nd tier/intermediate sites that link to your money site.

How would I judge if it's quality links? Everyone says .edu and .gov are very good but without knowing how it's done, I am not in a position to be able to make an educated decision.

I'm looking at purchasing the Angela and Paul .edu links.

There isn't an easy answer you need to use some judgement.

For example a link in a blog post on a PR5 blog in your niche is solid gold.
A comment on the same blog on a page of 200 comments in not worth anything like as much.

With edu links the same applies they are not all the same, and IMO, G will start to pay more attention to the type of links from edu and gov as they are being spammed to death.

If you get your hands on some authority links that are strong I'd link them to the money website.
