Need some info about VPS

hi,

i currently using a 12Mbit connection.
now, to upgrade my internet connection to 30-50 Mbits is something like
50$-75$ , extra for a month.

i would like to know what are vps prices?
which vps do i need to run SB , BMd , Sick ?
should i really take vps or upgrade my connection?
how do you setup all the apps on the vps and operate them?

all the info i could have on the subject will be great! thanks!!!

VPS is the best solution and cheaper also
Its like 30-40$ and you can run these all softwares on it
 
Prices may vary a lot, but also does the service ;)
 
Vps will run smoothly on fastest local internet connection.. My mouse always stuck from one point to one point on slow local internet connection until i upgraded it (local internet connection).. All run smooth now..
 
There are several threads discussing this. Use search function. Review the companies. I am in this process now. You will only really know after trying them out for a month. This is going to be a Christmas present to myself for the new year. All the best.

When you get windows vps - it's like opening another desktop - you can have win2003 version that looks / acts like xp or win2008 that is like win7
Your home connection is free to use for whatever you want, like another license / instance of SB :D

I use 1gb ram win2003 vps to run 2 instances of SB

Take 4go ram and good cpu for this
 
faster internet connection won't really make your vps much faster, the vps your using has it's own ram, which is good if your running scrapebox, senuke, and xrumer.

the 30-50 mbs broadbands are scams man.... I updgraded to 50.0 through my cable company and it wasn't any faster than the 20.0.

i can say though I noticed an increase in upload speeds.

i got one from xsservers.eu , 24 hours setup. until now all look good.
speed test not in peak hours is 250mgbit.
speed test in peak hours is 50mgbit.
easy to operate , windows server 2008.
i quite happy with that. SB running 24/7.
