Are you talking about the new TOS.

If so then basically they're just making efforts to ensure that product creators and affiliates are following truth in advertising guidelines like those required by the FTC and similar regulations from other countries as well.

It'll have some effect on sales for a lot of people because it affects a lot of the hype marketing methods that work so well. It might make sales a little more difficult for some people, but the best marketers will still be able to get sales even with the more stringent rules.

In the long run it may bery well be a good thing for clickbank marketers. Clickbank has somewhat of a reputation for being a site full of crappy overhyped products and even sometimes called an outright scam. That reputation isn't really true, because there really are a lot of very good products that peopla are happy they bought as well. Unfortunately there are a lot of misleading advertisements over hyping many products as well and so it's gained that reputation.

By having tighter standards regarding the hype and truthfulness in sales pages and reviews it might have some longterm trust benefits for clickbank products in general. I'm sure that's the result they're hoping for anyway. :cool2:
