Hello everyone,

Can you please help me with the following issue :

1 week ago i just launched a new webblog, i used some BH (like spamming on reddit, digg, identi.ca) etc..
After spamming, google indexed about 24 pages from my blog, and belive me i was very happy.
Today i just wanted to see how many pages are now indexed (using site:url.com) and guess what.. i got only 6 pages indexed, maybe is google dance, but i need your opinion, just to be sure this is okay.

Honeymoon period... you need more links to get your pages to stick.

Maybe your blog just enter google sandbox. Increasing the quality backlink maybe increase your indexed pages.

Don't worry, as it's a new site these things happen, just carry on building links and updating and it will come right in time.

I would worry only if the entire website despaired form the SERP all together.
Build more backlinks and go easy with the BH stuff

I don't want to start a new thread and I will ask you some other questions here :

1. How can I monetize my site... give some ideas, because I think that Adsense is not enough.

adsense, affiliate products, ebooks, physical products, CPA, sell links etc... those are all ways to monetize, see what works best and go with that.


If you write a GREAT article you will get some traffic, but not much. If you get a $10 article written and submit it you will get no traffic. Article directories are pretty useless these days unless you have a solid content syndication strategy in place.

Thanks for the reply, but which one could suit my blog ? Because, it is not a micro-niche, i think is not even a niche.

How about affiliate products ? Is this a good method of monetizing ? ( I tought using clickbank, is there anything better than clickbank?)

Still not understanding how to drive some traffic, i created some backlinks, with good PR, but still no results, maybe i picked up a bad "niche", maybe I am doing something wrong, still don't know.
