Hello guyz,
I am new to PPC and specially with Adwords.
I have about $80 on my adwords account from a Hosting Vouch I got last year.
I decided to use it to get some extra traffic.

I have created a campaign and set it this way:

  • US and Canada only
  • PC and laptops
  • Display Only if keywords and dimensions match
  • Display network 0.05cents bid with $3 daily budgets

I set 5 keyworsds which are the ones Im interested and assuming those are the keywords that will trigger the ads to show on networks.

So in total I have 5 banners ads all already approved but i have not seen a single impression, therefore no clicks.

It is something else I am missing which is the reason my campaign isnt running.

P.S: Yes my campaign is Enabled as well for all the ads. and my keywords elegible.

bump thread

Bid of $0.05 and a daily budget of $3 is too low. Google is laughing at you - thinking your actually going to get something served. A bid of $0.20 I think is as low as your going to get. Not sure what your keywords are but even the crappiest have at least a dime value.

@milton @guido

thnx for the info. those keywords ive choosen the ask 50cents to be on the top. I will raise it to see how it goes then. But i just want them to be on display.

You should increase bid and budget. Beside, try to increase your site's PR is also decrease the bid requirement !

@adsterhome: stop spreading lies. PR has little to no (direct) effect on anything for Adwords. I wouldn't say anything but this is the second time I see you mention this. The only thing website has in effecting quality score to the point where it's worth it is just to make sure it is relevant. As long as your site is relevant enough, it won't contribute anymore to quality score. PR has nothing to do with it. Indirectly, maybe, but to tell someone to raise their PR is horrible advice.

Frankly, I wouldn't care as misinformation makes my life easier for managing my PPC campaign.

@l0goz: like everyone mention, just increase bids until you get impressions. Even if you put a max bid of 50 cents, remember that's the max and most of the time it won't hit anywhere near that. I've put $3 max cpc and the CPC was only 60 cents (20% of max cpc)....but then again, I've put $25 as max CPC and the CPC was around $21 (84% of max cpc.

Work more on your quality score to lower the cpc but daily budget of $3 is like when you want you want to search for your add ,It will not be visible as by that that funds would be gone
