on Halloween. I know the domain is totally unrelated to the content but I've had this PR2 domain unused for a while(Although, I just noticed it dropped to PR0) and Halloween is up this month. So I thought what the hell, Let's give it a shot.

In case some newb like me is wondering how to create these babies, I just followed the step-by-step instructions here.

Anyways, I had a few questions to ask you experienced bloggers; how do you earn money through them. I was thinking about adsense. But the post said it might piss off Google and let's just say I'm kinda wuss when it comes to legal issues. I really don't want to use adbrite because of their mixed(and generally negative) reviews.

Also, I have problems with the cron-job thingy. So, if anyone could clear them up for me it would be really sweet..

And When I added some feeds on WP-O-Matic, it just adds a max 25-30 posts even though the original blog has hundreds.


Any comments on the general quality of the blog and any suggestions would be really appreciated..

PS: I think I sound really stupid asking this, But how you add your site's logo in the URL/navigation bar of the user? Like when I open google there's a small R/G/B/Y "g" logo beside the site's title. I learned HTML a while ago and I can't remember where exactly do I put that..

awww.. come on guys.. you're better than this; this ain't some shitty forum like DP.. please help me out here... I mean I've found the people at this forum to be a lot more helping than other forums... really, did I offend someone or what??

@n3570r and bumble bee: The URL is working correctly.. Did you remove the space before .net?? If that's the problem, I'm really sorry about that.. I just didn't want an irrelevant backlink..


@bzy39: Thanks, that does seem to be the problem but I can't find the code for that thing when I tried to edit the post. But I think increasing the width ought to solve the prob... I think I'll just have to google later about how to edit a wordpress theme/css..

the site is okay, just edit the main page a bit, add some more pics and it will look better

Thanks, I was thinking the same too but I really don't know how to edit a wordpress theme.. and I've been really busy for some time now.. will try to do this as soon as I have the time ...

Are you talking abt favicons?

You can create them from here http://www.html-kit.com/favicon/-/addanitext-0/

Nice theme btw, just look for feed with more pics and more content.

It's called a favicon. Look for the image favicon.ico in your wordpress core files via FTP. You won't see them through the admin panel. WP is cake. I've built 100's... If you need any help hit me up.

The theme looks nice except for the social bookmarking icons. They are listed vertically instead of horizontally. Longer post with some pictures would make it look a lot better also but Im sure you'll get to that. Overall I like the look. You might want to get an Amazon Affiliate account and push the costumes they sell. Maybe also put a Amazon coupon code on your site, etc.

looks very clean, like OP said the bookmarks arent aligned right, more pics would def make it better && i think it's missing advertisings, how do you plan to monetize it?

One advice: do some pinging and bookmarking, because you only have 2 pages indexed. And add it to G's webmaster tools. Besides that, it's really good looking autoblog!

Oh and edit the About page...

Add XML sitemaps plugin and ping google with that!
