Need some help. How do I rank....?

Hello folks.
My new blog has been doing pretty inspite of being just 2 months old.
Today I just registered my self as Amazon affiliate to monetize it and earn some bucks so that I can invest it.

My main article is ranking 1st on the second page of Google. It had around 6k searches per month. I need it to reach atleast in top 5 of Google 1st page.

Any quick tips that so that I can reach the first page. The content is long and brilliant on that page and surely way better than any of the top 5 sites, but all of those sites are old and have many links.

Also - my blog and my top 5 competitors are all legit sites, without any blackhat.
Please help me out.

I would recommend some guest posting on related sites or if you wanted to go a bit riskier get some High pr links from BHW.

So I have 12 links to my blog, all legit and organic. Out of those I have made 4 guest posts of some really active sites, all pr3+ and alexa world rank under 80k, and the links have the text of my blog name.
Other 8 of them are nofolow.

You need contextual backlinks, such as guest posts, web2.0s, blog posts from private networks and so on.

It seems you are not interested in blackhat SEO. If you need to rank in the top 5 quickly, get some high PR blog post links from the marketplace. The slow way is link outreach and more guest posting.

Thank you for replying guys. The thing is i need to rank to earn a few bucks so that I can invest. I have almost no money right now to buy marketplace services.
Obviously I am a noob, but as everyone is suggesting backlinks, can I use gsa search ranker to get ranked.
Though I don't know how to use it successfully, if you guys can confirm it'll be of some help, I'll put in my time and efforts.

I would suggest you to search for keywords which can help your blog to list on first page. You need to do some research. Guest blogging and guest blog commenting can also help you to increase your blog web traffic. I would also recommend you to use social media websites which can also help you to drive traffic.
