need some help & advice pls ...

Guys,

I have been running a web site for almost 10 years.
It targets a very popular and competitive industry, possibly in the 10 5 industries online.

For almost 10 years it has done really well in serps and delivered me a good ammout of traffic.

Over the last 12 months i have noticed it has been dropping in the serps and now i find my self on page 2.

Using white hat how can i gain some of my serps back?

- Backlinks? When i contact other sites asking for a back link i either get no answer or they want a rec link back.

- Articles? since the latest Panda update i have read this is not worth the time anymore.

- Bookmarking? again i have been told this is worthless now?

Any advice/suggestions? can i ask whats working for you?
I'm not interested in using SB or Xrumer blasts as i just dont want to risk this domain.

For me its all about gaining better serps

You can always buy backlinks. Send an email to admins with an offer.
Also worth trying is to buy a review of Your site on some blogs (unique posts).

Make sure that your content is unique.
