Need some guidance

Hi. This is what i plan to do...

Tell people about Free Ebooks either make a youtube video or something
them redirect Them To a place where they can download them
have them put their Email in Squeeze Page, in the process completing an offer????
Then they can only Download Ebook

A couple question though do I need to have my own blog or website to have them download the book. Or can I put it on mediafire or something. And if i put it on mediafire can a content locker still be put on it?

And does anyone have any other recommendations that might work better???

I would say put up your own site and content lock the link. If you use MediaFire, anyone can just search for the direct link on G and download it without submitting their e-mail, or completing a survey.

Content locking it would be better. That way, not everyone can publically access your material. Hope it helps!
