So I've built about 17 PBN's with expired domains over the past two months, each one has 20+ CF/TF/DA/PA and I made sure to post only 1 link to my site from each PBN and I link out to authority sites as well. For each of the PBNs, I use original articles (very time-consuming) and post relevant images. The expired domains are not related to my niche. Some of my anchor texts are repeated 2-3x among different domains. I use Wordpress for all of them, with different themes/setups. Each PBN has 6'ish articles and a few pages (ie. contact, about, etc..)

The issue is, I've been stuck on Page 2/3 for most of my keywords that I'm trying to rank for. The keywords are 2k - 5k daily searches, medium-high comp. I also noticed that my money site's TF has been fluctuating between 20 - 27 and I can't seem to bust it over 30. I've been stuck for a pretty long time.

Any tips on what I could be doing wrong or what I could improve on?

Thanks in advance

If you're stuck on Page 2/3, why don't you build more links? A PBN on its own isn't supposed to be the only way to rank a site. You need to throw in some other links into the mix too. Your PBN sounds great but there's only so much it can do. Have you tried building other links to give it the final boost you need?

I don't necessarily think you're doing anything wrong, you just need to do more of it - more good links. Maybe try setting up a buffer site or two, then blasting gas and sape links at it to get some more juice.

looks like you need more time and more links. 2 months ain't much nowadays, the waiting is the hardest part of doing SEO. As to links - get some high PR profile links to your money site and the PBS and blast them with GSA. Than wait again...

A) Variety is the spice of life, and apparently your rankings, T0mmy recently posted an article about link diversification I assume not all your links are from a PBN, if they are it may be worth building other links, ie established tumblr's, weeblys, bloggers, social media, video sharing, etc. Each to diversify the type of links to your website whilst increasing your anchor diversity.
B) Niche Niche Niche, building a PBN should be specific to what's being linked to. You've already got unique related content although the links to each of those sites are generic, so either build links to your existing PBN niche related ie GSA, Web 2.0 releases, mass PBN's, etc to clarify to google that the site is in a different niche and the good juice needs passing to your website. Or add more properties built with Niche related backlinks, building each as a site you would run.

Finally, you've pointed out a footprint, every single site is on Wordpress, whilst there are a lot of Wordpress sites does it not look slightly funky that all are now in the same niche, all run the same CMS, all were built at the same time, all have 6/7 posts and all link to your website. Sounds a little fishy to me.
I would setup websites, wordpress sites, other cms's, css / html5 sites. Variety! They then look real, appear real and may even get traffic. Then hey presto, boom, your keyword could start ranking.

Failing the above grab the closest magic wand, or visit Harry Potter land at Orlando, tap it against the computer screen, use a little photoshop and hey presto. #1 for your search.

Are you adding fresh content your site? If not, try adding some fresh content.

Yup, I have built other links as well. Web 2.0's, other links, paid for some link packages here on BHW.

Will continue to push forward with more links and see

Thanks for the insight, will try other CMS' as well.

Have been adding new content to money site, not to PBNs.

Whats your keyword ratios like. Usually a common problem as I've experienced that myself. Sorted out my ratios then bounced to the first page.

ratios for on-site or backlinks?

I'm trying to fix the PBN link anchor text ratio.

Work on some more link variety. Social signals, expired high authority Web 2.0s, some automatic links with buffer sites etc. are a few pointers. Also can add variety links such as YT and video sharing links, doc links, some nofollow links too possibly from social profiles etc. And change the anchor texts and try no anchor text too at times.

I also hope/suppose you have linked back to the money site from the page/URL which has got the TF/CF and not from individual pages in the PBNs. Being an expired domain seller, I have seen many of my customers linking back from inner pages of the PBN which are themselves not very powerful and due to which the full link juice of the PBN does not pass on to the money site.

Aside from the metrics, what kind of stats do your PBN Domains have?

Ref domains?

How many of those are contextual from big time sites?

Page 2/3 is good. Now, generate a bunch of long tails off your main keywords (around 50 total will do it) and add content for these long tails and silo it properly (internal link back from long tails pages to the main keyword page using the main keyword anchor).

First your site content must be well themed or LSI'd. That's enought to push you to the top 50
Second try as much as possible to make your pbn in your niche
third push those pbn's with links
4th link diversity is so important you have no idea.
5th Social Signals I never understand why people say these don't work. Maybe they don't work coz they are are coming from fake accounts. Just try posting on facebook groups in your niche
6th create content on your own site that links to the the ones that you wish to push
7th repeat

Then wait.
