    Hello,

Lately, I have been thinking about giving away something back to the community and I had an awesome idea. I was thinking about giving 1 on 1 free coaching session of 30-60 minutes per day (For maybe a week or +/- depending on how much time I could spare every day) for people who wanted to learn about web designing but have been struggling a bit.

I wanted to cover these topics:

    1) HTML4/HTML5
    2) CSS2/CSS3
    3) Javascript and a bit of jQuery

I can even cover designing a website from scratch i.e. designing a website in Photoshop and then coding it all the way.

I know it's not possible to teach anyone everything in just one week but, I can give away some of my resources which has helped me all the way.

What do you guys suggest? I would love some positive and healthy feedbacks or negative criticism.

Actually, you could do a webinar for a whole week (maybe 1-2 hours a day) if you have time.

You could concentrate on HTML5 + CSS3 for modern web design.

    Just my 2 cents.

IMO, 1 on 1 free coaching session of 30-60 minutes per day is not enough....

how many members will be accepted for this?

Anyway, its really Awesome if you can write a good tutorial thread about this instead of 101 coaching. it will helps many people and i believe you will get members attention.

30-60 minutes coaching for a week= 3.5-7 hours to write an Exellent tut.

I agree with wpbacklinks on this one. This way you can allow your learners to self teach with your thread acting as the tutor. Plus, if you give away that much time each week, you would burn yourself out, and would probably end up losing money because of it. It is a very good thought, but you wouldn't be much help to others if you burned yourself out.

P.S. I would be one that would read the hell out of your thread :D

It would be better if you create a series of videos and show the whole process from designing the page in Photoshop, cutting and to coding it with the latest technologies :)

Upload the videos to YouTube and make a thread here where you can comment on the videos and answer to questions. I think that this would be a very helpful thing to do.

Well let's see what I can do and how much time I can dedicate. This is why I made this thread :)
