Just wanted to give an quick update about them. I registered at affforce.com years ago and I was still curious about the program, since they kept sending me affiliate offers via email and stuff. Also the affiliate panel is well updated with news. So I know from other users of BHW that it is 99% scam, but I had a lot of unused adspots since usenet.nl went out of business, so I thought I'll give it a try. Conversion was quite ok so far, I just placed their links on 1 of my sites which only is 20% of my overall traffic.
So here is my story so far:
After reaching 700$ I asked for BTC payout with skype. Answers in Skype are quite short and not professional. Do not expect a "Hello, how are you?" or something, just half sentences or sometimes only 1 word as an answer. Got told to send my BTC payout info via email. I did so and did not hear back within 2 weeks, so I asked again and got told "all new emails are answered, send your request again!" which is obviously a strange answer already. But no problem, I did it again. 2 weeks later I asked again via Skype and got told, that they do not offer BTC payouts anymore. I'm still not sure if this is really just a childish game to waste the time of the affiliate and keep them with the program, I removed all ad codes anyway because I do so all the time, until my first payment. So I'm now sending them my paypal info and I'm excited if they gonna payout.
We all know there are some special guys running around here, doing strange marketing techniques and then crying after when they get "ripped off" their 50$ payout. I'm just curious if they pay out and if they do so, I would be ready to work with them "for real" and move my other sites.
My opinion so far is, I'm not sure if they are 100% scam, because they update their panel very frequently and offer "some kind" of support. I don't know if it's possible to keep up a scam program for years like this. But I'm sure they're trying to avoid payout in any way, they don't act and work like a serious affiliate company, from what I understand so far. Maybe they just pay out some bigger affiliates.
