But the good thing about relevant backlinks is that you don't need to get links from exactly the same niche. In your case any backlink from sites in the engineering / software / projects / apps / industrial / technology education should do it. Just plop the main keyword (engineering) into a keyword tool (or even in google) and see what LSI / relevant seed keywords / topics you can find and then use those topics as footprints to search google for relevant sites. I'm pretty sure you'll be able to a few dozens that you can outreach to...

Export the top 100 sites, filter out anything under DR 30 and over DR90 (The lower end is too low to be usefull and dr90+ sites usually wont accept guest posts)

Outreach those sites. You can do this manually using the contact us/advertise form on the sits or use a tool like hunter.io to automate. These sites get a lot of pitches daily so try to stand out. 90% of the time, you will have to pay for links.

Rinse and repeat with more seed keywords. This is a numbers game. For every 100 sites we outreach we can expect 2-5 live links.

I've tried semrush, I used top 10 serp results of my KW, took thier backlinks data with filter (Blog). I've compiled a list from their and gonna start the outreach from Monday. It is troublesome to know that there is only 5% conversion rate. So if I outreach to 200 sites, there is a possibility that I will get only 10-15 links. I fear my website is not so performing so maybe I will get less opportunity.

I will do manual outreach. Also, can anyone point me to how to find niche-related guest post-accepting websites?
