I am making a website on technology reviews. Not very specific just all different things to do with technology in there respectable sub categories. In your opinion is there a possibility to make money off of this?

there's possibility to make money out of anything if you play your cards smartly..

do you want to ask something in particular?

Yes, of course there is. You can do PPC ads, do CPA offers, Amazon Affiliate links, etc. There are probably thousands of possible combinations and twists.
Do a little research on this forum, there's plenty of how-to threads to get you started.
In the end, though, what works and what doesn't can only be truly determined by you. Try different things and figure it out.

thats a crowded niche but its constantly growing so you can enter it and make money. If you are just reviewing though its not very original. It might be difficult to draw an audience

What I mean is, is there a possibility to rank this site given it is such a broad category. What other things might you suggest KeyzDT to make it more original and draw an audience?

try to mix it up with a lifestyle people live or something. for example if you are an outdoor person you could do tech review for tech that is used for outdoor purposes hiking/hunting etc. niche out what your doing int he beginning to get a feel for it. if it doesnt catch on change it up

We have sub categories on the site for things like that. I want to have many categories that could possibly get ranked in the big G. Should I continue this way?

Good luck. There are tons of technology review sites out there already. If you want to succeed in that niche, then you have to stand out big and be extremely unique and have a site that's aesthetically pleasing.
I'm kind of in the same boat as you. Broad niche like say weight loss.

First target a subniche within like, so for the weight loss example it would be weight lifting (or something even more specific)
Rank up for that niche and once it's up, start targetting another subniche.

Keep repeating this and you'll have multiple subniches within your broad niche, allowing you to rank up for that broad niche.
It's a lot of work but it's needed if you're going to target something really broad.

Hope this helps

From my point of view, your niche it's still not fully covered so you can make money from it. All you have to do is to always use your head before planning the whole project. There are sooo many IMers who are working without planning and thinking...

This helps a tonne, it was actually the exact info I was looking for. I can rank this site but just need to rank in sub-niches first.

Admittedly I jumped into this project a little sooner then I wanted and am still fully planning everything but I am still fairly new to the whole process.

If your content is good, and then do some quality backlinks, some traffic should come from longtails.
