Keep moving forward and best of luck! Not sure, though, why you didn't use the Amazon PA API to pull the images from Amazon.
Thx you Kikoissdude! For the api : It had been working like this for years, I didn’t think it was going to be a problem...
How come have such a huge amount with them
Didn't you withdraw all these while?
You can’t withdraw from Amazon, they pay you monthly with a two-month delay.
If you are in the USA you could try small claims court
If you are using Audio Book Cover images to promote that same audio book on Amazon
you should do fine in court
You could also contact the original producer and have them vouch for you
If you are using those images to promote an unrelated product then that is a problem
NEVER leave more in any account of any affiliate company that you can't afford to lose.
None of them can be trusted
With AI you can have your own images for almost nothing. Dreamina.Capcut.com is a front end
to Seedance 2.0. They have a free tier. Give it your image and tell it to make a new one and it will.
Sincerely,
The Eye
Unfortunately, I’m from France -_-
I used the audiobook image on purpose, it’s a win-win for both them and me, It was probably someone who reported me.
Keep trying, young man!
Right now you might feel negative, but use what you have to start over. I believe this could be a sign that you can begin again and go furrther in the long run.
Thx you AdVantage, in fact I had a lot of luck since the beginning, Now the tables have turned against me.
It’s hard, but be patient and start moving; there’s nothing more I can say. I hope the appeal surprises you.
Thx you KHR, the appeal got rejected yesterday.. i'm wondering if I can appeal again
i recently went through something really bad too, lost everything. i might make a thread about it too. look, we did it once, twice, we can do it again. better than before
It hurts, doesn’t it? I’m trying to stay positive, life has been kind to me for a long time. Time to pay, lol.
That’s a tough one, no way around it. Losing something that was working for years hurts a lot more than people think, especially when it still feels like the machine is running but you’re no longer inside it. Anyone who has been around affiliates long enough has a story like this, maybe not the same details, but the same feeling in the stomach when something disappears overnight.
The hard part is accepting that once it happens, replaying the mistake in your head doesn’t really move things forward. You already filed the appeal, that’s all you can do on that front. Now it becomes a different game. Either it comes back or it doesn’t, and if it doesn’t, the only useful thing left is extracting the lesson from it. Most of us learn risk management the expensive way. Platforms are great partners until the day they aren’t, and that lesson usually sticks forever after the first hit.
The good news, even if it doesn’t feel like it right now, is that you built something that generated real money for three years. That part didn’t disappear. The skill, the process, the understanding of what works, all of that is still yours. People who never made anything work don’t get a second chance because they don’t know where to start. You do.
Take a few days to cool off, then rebuild cleaner and more independent. Bad moments usually force upgrades we would never do while things are comfortable. And honestly, sitting there being angry at the situation won’t pay the next commission anyway. If there’s no fix, learn from it, adjust, and move forward. Most people who last in this space got there by surviving a few punches like this.
Thanks for the kind words. Yeah, platforms can feel like, “Thanks for the affiliates, now go away”, like a big stab in the back. The worst part is that you can’t even have a real conversation with them. It would probably be easy to fix what I did wrong, but it feels like they just don’t care.
Anyway, I’ll try to survive it like everyone else who’s taken a punch like this. The show must go on, haha.
You have an unlucky day bro. But that's life, sometimes we just have to accept things and move on.
Yeah, that’s life. At least they can’t take back what they already gave.
That’s really tough, sorry you’re going through it. Take a short break, file the appeal, then work on a backup and diversify so one closure doesn’t wipe everything again.
Thank you. I kind of knew the cash machine was going to break one day or another, but not so suddenly.
Thank you to everyone who took the time to reply to this message. When I found out my account had been closed, I was really at my lowest mentally, it’s honestly not easy to deal with. (If I were living alone, it would be different and probably easier, but I have a wife and two kids that count on me!)
Especially since with Amazon you’re basically two months ahead, in a way (they pay you two months later), so in the worst case I thought I’d still have two months to adapt. But having the account closed and the payment canceled is a huge shock, lol.
I’m going to keep working, I’m not the type to dwell on all this, and we’ll see where it leads me. Thanks again for your messages, and take care.
