Need some clarifications

Well let's say i'm a noob at webcams.com and their affiliate program. I'm a little unsure whether it's safe to put my SSN there so i have some questions:
- is that website legit? safe to put my SSN on?

- someone suggested me to refer some of my friends there since they pay you $25 for a free signup. Is it actually free? I have plenty of friends with credit cards and if they put in their cc info under my referral link, will they have to pay for ANYTHING? Or do they have to cancel the subscription within a given time for it to actually be free?

- is it that easy? If i get 100 of my friends to sign up for free which seems realistic...i can make $2500??

okay good to hear. But i'm wondering whether it's free or not for someone to sign up so that you get the $25 or do they have to pay and then you get $25?

no they don't have to pay, but in long run some of them would since i doubt cams.com is going to just give away money ...
