need some basics...

Finally got a youtube account with views over 40k, oh lucky me..

Not much, but an acheivement for me anyways...
Really new to all of this, but how do i monetize this...

Already made the popular video link to another youtube account, which is in the same niche, but trying to promote too...

Tried blogspot direction, it dont work too well.. 50 cents at least.. but is an external website the only way to make this work?
ANY tips? Advice? Help? Direction? Much love, thanks

If you're not converting, then check your annotations/watermark. Be sure you have a "call to action" statement. Something like "Click the link below this video to get a free ipod"
