Need some advices for WP

Hey there,

I made an WP and now I'm wondering which plugins should I instal to it?

Are there any mandatory ones that every WP site should use?

I'm going to do SEO on it and try to rank it on Google.

Will be doing some articles, after that backlinks and also a YouTube traffic.

Any advices on ranking and plugins are welcome!

Yeah, had that in mind, just wanted to check if there are any "must use" plugins.

Anything SEO related or tracking visits and stuff maybe?
 
Wordfence, all in one seo, wp hide, limit log in, cache, few good ones

Statcounter is good for tracking visits. Free version supports some traffic.

Going against your advice here and suggest The SEO Framework.

Way lighter and faster then Yoast. However no native content analysis, but you could get that from the add-on.

OP. The number of plugins doesn’t matter. Code quality does.

If you like you can run a WP install with 56 plugins as long as they are coded well. If so, it’s only a matter of milliseconds that get added.
 
I always add Yoast, and if I need a contact form I use Contact Form 7 or Gravity Forms.
 
Well, make sure you get a well coded theme, error free (You can check on W3C Validator).
As for plugins, there are some free ones that I like : wordfence, w3 total cache, all in one seo.
 
Yoast for SEO is the absolute must have.
But in general have as less plugins as possible, it will be better for speed and security.
 
As suggested by other members, try using as few as you can but don't lose on your site design because of it.
Avoid nulled ones and unpopular ones since they come with high security risk factor.
I generally prefer having a caching plugin installed on most of my sites, but it all depends on what suits your needs.
