Need Some Advice!

I'm just got back from almost a year doing nothing on the computer. All my sites are now gone from the 1st page positions that they used to have after the Penguin. I'm trying to read and educate myself uptodate. I'm not sure what to do now because there are so many warnings on not using BH technique wrongly.
I have a lot of time on hand now so I think I'm going to start doing things manually first.
My plan is to create a lot of Wordpress.com blog Manually, fill up the infos and create natural non-spammy blogs. I'm going to get maybe 50 wordpress blogs and create at least 10 posts per account. My links will come mainly from these blogs. This method is probably going to get me less links but more quality right?
My question is:
_ Is this better than using GSA or Senuke to blast links to my Money site?
_ Is 50 accounts enough or do I need more?

This method will probably takes up lots of my time so I don't want to waste it if its not worth it. Please give me some advice on how you cope with the Penguin and get your site back.

You better mix up the platforms, all of one kind of link will be punished by Google. get some web.2.0, wikis, social bookmarks, blog comments, guest posts,.. anything close to your niche is always a big plus. Also, mix up your anchor text. These two points seem to have been a pretty big deal in recent updates.

The methods that you suggest will probably not get you very far and you may end up leaving a footprint and not rank well at all. I would focus less on creating a ton of blogs and more on putting out good content, reaching out to sites in your niche and getting them to link to you, guest blogging, creation of some external properties (keep it to a minimum), being active on social media, blogging on your own website, targeting specific keywords and building pages around each one, and varying your anchor text. You should also diversify your backlink profile. For example don't have tons of links all coming from wordpress.com. Don't make them all do-follow.

I think the best place to learn about SEO is actually forums. They provide noises and you get to learn things real quick in an understandable informal writing.

No of articles have been published online which are telling about SEO in detail. Various blogs are also there where you can see live tips on SEO through videos.
