Need some advice!

Hi all, I'm new to SEO am trying to rank in page 1 for my keyword which has only 200+ searches a month.. I currently only have 1 article up, and Im in the process of gathering backlinks for this site...

How many more articles should I put up? And should all these articles be chock full of my keywords? Thank you so much in advance for your answers.

a basic site with 5 pages and 10 250-500 word articles should have no trouble ranking #1....but what's the point mate? Only 200 searches a month? You'll be making less than a dollar a year.

thanks for the reply man.... does every article have to include my keyword? and if my site is a wordpress blog 5 articles=5pages am i right?
