Need some advice.

Have about 12 hours a day to focus only on making video and building up a channel. Have some average skills in 3d animation editing in After Effects and Photoshop.

What kind of content seems to be getting a lot of views nowadays for channels that are just starting out (less than 1000 subs)? Does anybody here have any experience with getting subs on a channel from the ground up?

Animated Videos for Kids

This video have 3.4M in 2 months. And I bet there is more than 3 minutes watched:
 
The only problem is that I really suck at drawing IRL, and even if I learned I really don't think I could do that for a long time...

I could do that Elsagate bs, but does that still get views?

What do you mean by “Viral ranked”? Do you mean when videos get randomly suggested by the YouTube algorithm? Yeah, I’ve made some videos that are identical in quality to some videos that have went viral before or around the same time, but they don’t usually get near the same amount of exposure; so I definitely know first-hand that manipulating the algorithm or having a large fanbase is more important.

Yet, at the same time there seem to be some members of this forum who have gotten a lot of views on their own without using any blackhat methods, so it’s a bit confusing.
 
Buy some toys and set a playground for them, say muddy area and control them using your hand only or thread, so that it does not show up in video much. Be in local language. I see many of them getting good views count.

That sounds pretty hilarious man lmao. Do you have any examples I could look at? I don’t really have a local language other than English, so I feel there would be a lot of competition.

How the hell does that have 54m views... I guess a lot of kids are left on their parents phones all day and it just autoplays. Really interesting though.
 
I guess I could try changing the MD5 hash of some of these videos and reuploading to see if it’s worth pursuing this in the future.

Sorry for the confusion, I meant viral and/or ranked and/or advertised videos.

Yes, I’ve heard that Marvel Related stuff rakes in a lot of views; maybe I’ll try something with that.
 
@Zeno dont do kids stuff and copyright stuff, first one is dead and will get demonitized. Second one will get demonitized. How good are you in 3d stuff like cinema4d and/or 3dmax. I might be interested to work with you (feel free to pm me)

Check the trending section twice a day on YouTube. If something is trending that related to your content, quickly put out a video with god-like SEO. If you are lucky, boom.
