Hi guys, Im new to this forum, A couple of months ago, I decided that i maybe could make some extra cash with adsense , I was pretty much a complete noob, with little html experience, but i read up on webdesign and managed to put toghether a couple basic sites, one on laptops , and the other on on motorcycle parts and acc. I read up on proper adsense ad block placement, i also got hooked up with ebay partner network and used their editor kit to put some ebay auction content on my page. I was pretty proud of myself lol,

I had submited my sites to google and other search engines, Waiting for that "influx of visitors". And much to my dismay I basically got no traffic at all. So i tried ppc to get some targeted traffic to my page and i am getting some money now , but it only just about covers what i pay for ppc.

Now since ive been reading up on here, and other places on SEO and the importantce of it , theres so much information, its almost confusing where to start to get some traffic . Any suggestions?

Also Ive been thinking maybe adsense isnt that lucrative, and i should look into something else?

and help would be greatly appreciated,

then what would you recommend doing, cpa?

There begins the cycle of searching for the 'best way'. You won't find one. Stick to one method long enough and odds are that you'll start making money with it. Keep looking for the next best method and it's certain that you won't make much.

Can't say better.
Even if let's say you're making doughnuts as long as you stick to it you'll become the best in the neighbourhood and you'll get a lot of customers.

As a TIP for adsense ... Submit your articles , blog posts to social sites. It may increase your backlinks and get some readers that will click your ads

Adsense is a LONG time investment. It's a lot of hard work ...
Check out J0el C0mm's Ad*sense
Secrets in the members download area if you're looking to
invest time in it.

We use minor networks like miva, etc. and bid 0.06 cents for terms we know people bid over $2 for. then we track to make sure our EPM is over $50 (the profit breakpoint) and put 100000 dollars as the limit (it usually only gets like 50-100 clicks) as long as we make a profit, we're good. this is like 5% of what we make so we usually take this money and figure out how much we make at the end of the week and then go across the street and buy enough shots (there are three of us) to max out that amount. We usually make 400% so I'm pretty drunk now that it is friday and i'm back at the office. silly shots.

Go Lakers!!!

p.s. -- i quoted adsense long time investment because i wanted to know if any one has the j03l c0MMMy secrets?

My two websites are on laptops, and motorcycles, Im buying ppc from 7search.com. My adsense commision averages about 5 dollars a day combined, but it costs me 3 dollars in ppc.

just about all my traffic is ppc, i usually get a CTR on the adsense ads of about 10 percent, Also Im only getting paid like 35 cents a click. Im not asking for the exact phrases, but is there any niche or genre that earns anywhere near me getting paid $2 per click?

On a brighter note i just made my first sale on click bank today, I made a google adwords account. Made an ad for the "truth about abs" program , I directed the destination to my clickbank hoplink, and within an hour i had one sale. :)

CPA is what I'm venturing into now but I'm just starting so I'm
in no position to recommend it. It's what I see most of the
"big players" in here are doing so I'm trying it out. There are
lots of opportunities out there. I don't think it's so much WHAT
you're doing as much as HOW you're doing it. Focus and work
ethics will take you far.

I second this, just be prepared to lose money first if you plan the PPC route, just be sure to take note of all your mistakes so you can learn from them and once you find winners (I've started to see some) it will be all worth it.

Think of yourself as a movie producer, 6/10 films lose money 2 will break even and 2 will be blockbusters to cover all your film costs and beyond.

That's basically how the PPC/CPA method works. :)
