Need some advice on monetizing

Back several months ago I created a couple micro niche blogs that were my first trials in the micro niche and SEO world, and were actually fairly successful for my first two attempts. One blog is about girl hair styles and the other is about a specific type of animal (most random two blogs topics huh? lol). So anyway i placed Adsense on them, and over the last several months have only made about $20 combined from the two which is a bit disappointing. These two blogs average each about 150 views a day, my problem is that i dont really know of any other way to monetize them being they are so specific. Also a lot of my traffic comes from google images where people searching my topic are greatly interested in the images around my topics. I have basically left these two blogs alone for these several months not trying anything else with them, just seems like a waste not to try to make use of them. Any thoughts?

Depending on the KWs you have targeted, search clickbank or offervault to find products as directly related to your niche as possible. Just my opinion.

The problem with these blogs is that there's very little commercial intent behind these niches/keywords. If people are just looking for information on something as general as this, the chances of them buying a contextually related product are extremely low - therefore, you're going to have few relevant advertisers, a low CTR, and a low CPC. Try doing the same thing but applying it to niches with more buying associated with them.

Depending on how much work you want to put into it, you can do a JV and let someone else monetize it for you or you can age the site while first page rank the keywords and just sell the sites.
