Recently I've been wanting to create an authority site like those in Xfactor's Authority Site Adsense Guide. I just wanted to get my fellow blackhatter's opinion on the best hosting and site creation tool.

So, what do you guys think is the best place to buy and host a domain? I've been using GoDaddy but I don't know any promo codes, so if anyone knows a more reliable/cheaper alternative please post! :D

Also, what tool would you guys recommend for creating the site itself? Preferably it would have a feature that allows me to just make an article template (with ads and stuff) and just let me make a new "article" and plug my text in for each.

Thanks for the advice!
Happy holidays! :)

Sorry for double posting, but how is Hostgator for web hosting and Wordpress to design the site? :O

correct me if I'm wrong, but X factor sites are not authority sites but niche sites.

for domains you can use namecheap.com. You can also host on their servers and they are pretty cheap.
Hostgator are fine too. They have good up-time and good support.

Sure Wordpress will be o.k. for the site, try to find a good template professional looking and for Hosting Hostgator is fine and if required you can upgrade.

If you dont have too much experience with Wordpress, dont worry you can learn quite easily if you apply your self to it. There are many many tutorials online and I am sure also here in the download section.

Thanks for the advice guys! I think I will be using namecheap for the domain name and hostgator for hosting. Don't think it is a good idea to use the same company for both.

And actually Xfactor released a newer (I think) book about authority sites rather than niche sites. :D

I registered and host my domain name from one provide. It is better.
