I am in need of a simple script that can be either server or desktop based as long as it gets the job done. Preferably server based. Basically I need a script that can automatically take 10 url's at a time out of a text file with many thousands of total url's in it, and create an rss feed from those 10 urls. The way I can do with icerocket or html2rss manually. I need it to save those rss feeds to another archive text file for later reference if I need them. Then I need the script to automatically submit these rss feeds to various rss aggragators and to ping the rss feed to various ping services. I would like the multiple rss feeds to be mashed together with a service similar to html2rss but preferably my own server based solution. An added bonus would be to submit the rss feed to ping.fm via their api key or post via email option, whatever would get the job done. Another added bonus would be to submit the rss feed as a status update to a variety of status.net based sites that I have. --------- To recap, the main thing I need is the rss feed creation, settings able to create a feed with 10 profiles in each feed and also 100 profile urls in each feed. I realize that will be the easy part, if the rss agg subs etc would be too difficult or expensive thats fine i can sub/ping the rss feeds with other automated tools.
