Hi guys,
I need a site built that will do the following:
People will visit the site, and "sign-up" to become members, to do jobs for me. They are basically applying to be contract workers. Similar to other freelancing websites but on a VERY small scale. The subject of the contracts is only one specific thing, and they are signing up to do the work for just me (the business of the website).
When they sign up, they will have to read some disclaimer pages, sign a waiver, enter their info on a survey page, etc.. Each of these will be a separate page, and completing the first will lead to the next, then the next, and so on. I'm sure you understand what I am talking about, they will be following the process of getting signed up. I will provide you with the content that goes on these pages, however I lack the coding and design knowledge to make it work, and make it pretty. The sign-up can be an opt-in on the homepage or it's own page, if you want to put a big SIGN UP NOW button on the homepage.
The waiver page will be one that they type in their full name, and by doing so they agree to the terms and conditions, etc. This will need to somehow get recorded into the database as well.
All the information that gets entered will need to be recorded into a database that I can access whenever I want.
I'm sure it's possible but I don't have much experience, if someone signs up on the website and does all the steps, I would need to receive an email telling me they have done so. That would have to get coded in.
If you want to talk about this project more in-depth, and can show me some of your previous work, PM me or reply here. This is probably more of a coding job than anything, as I don't know about databases, opt-ins, recording all the information etc.. I don't care what format you build this site in really. It would have to look nice, professional, and you would have to be able to explain to me the workings of it so I understand. Don't worry, I'm a fast learner, you won't have to hold my hand. Just tell me what's up so I can manage it all later without any hiccups.
