Need SEO help with website.

I have a very nice looking website that's quite popular on Facebook (organic, real UK fans 7k), and it certainly pulls in the likes, views and shares. However, I have only started to read about SEO and my Google organic is atrocious. I rarely have any visits, however I do understand that with a wee bit of SEO work I could probably rank a lot better and get many more visits.

My budget for the moment is very limited so I'm only looking for a little bit of advice, or a pointer to a few good articles. Thank you

I can run an audit via semrush later if you like, it will point out all the on site things which need to be sorted.

Get on site done first, also do not do anything at all off site till you know what you are doing and also you are about to get spammed by 1000 experts and some with probably great prices, I highly recommend researching before you let anyone loose on your site.
