Need SEO Help from experienced Expert

I am running a site for 3 years now, I managed to get ranked on position 2 for our main keyword without doing many blackhat, just some forum links and bought blog articles.
I was also successfully using pandabot to get the site from 3-4 to 2. A couple of weeks ago the site dropped to 6 and I have no Idea why. I immediately turned off panda because I thought it has to do with this, but the site dropped even more and is now around 7.
I need someone to analyze this and give me some tips or even better, get me to #2 again.
.Since I am deep into some other project, I discontinued to pay all the services I used for SEO analyzing and am in the dark here.
