Need SEO help for big authority website

A year ago I started building an authority website in the travel niche.
The website is about 2000 pages big at the moment.
The past year I got about 100 links (95% to my homepage) from other travel websites.
I rank top 10 (33% top 10 / 33% top 5 / 33% top 3) for my ten most important searchterms.

Last month I earned about 2000$ from affiliates.
If I get top 3 for all my keywords I would probably make +5000$.

What can I do to further improve my rankings for long term benefits?
Dilemma... Should build more links or leave the website alone and keep banking at the current rate?

Bro, when I start I was happy with some place when I start getting money and I leave it with that but later you will just drop probably because other people will make new links, especial you need to work on social networks to get natural links etc... I have one big website to and all time building links, increasing social activity etc there are always new keywords to rank or improve those you are ranked... its damn easy to move from 2000$ to 1000$ when you have good start. Just don't stop.
 
You just continue your link building process. Get some links from another authority websites with perfect DA, PA, PR.
 
My experience says, you do not need to build any new links. You said you are getting natural links without any effort, so why waste time and effort. Natural links are a sign that you are doing great content-wise, so just concentrate on promoting naturally without building any kind of backlinks artificially. Of course, it might be a slow process to your 5k+ earnings, but those earnings will stay for a much longer time if you do it naturally.
 
I own a authority site and it does require backlinking. if you just keep at it, it would while away after some time or stay stagnant at the best. When backlinking a authority site, the trick is to make the link juice flow internally. When I build backlinks for my authority site, I normally go for the category pages and the homepage. If you have linked them internally right, multiple keywords would start rising.

So make links to the anchor pages. If you are skeptical about algo updates and all just use a 301 redirect to pass the link juice but it would delay the flow of link juice by 15 days or so, aprox. So keep that in mind as well.
 
You'd need to give more specifics about your noiche, keyword competition etc. Of course perhaps not so much publicly that you have others focusing in on your niche (especially now you've told the world there's earning potential), but enough so that specific suggestions can be made.
 
you need to build high authority niche specified links. Like HuffingtonPost, Forbes like that

If you are not moving forward you are going backwards so yes you have to build links, but keep everything 100% high quality - authority links, guest posting etc and get the best content writers out there so that any articles you have on third party sites and the same or better quality than your site.

Build our your social media presence as well.
 
You need to continue working on your website. Today it's new, tomorrow it will become old if you aren't updating it. Keep growing your profile to reap maximum benefits. Improve simple things in your website that is going to make things better for your audience.

Sounds like you've done well.

I would do 2 things: 1) Continue to build more on-site content - the more you build, the more rankings you will naturally get. 2000 pages in content is good, but there could be so much more. 2) Continue link building but away from the home page now, go to category pages, or content pages etc. 80% to home page is quite a lot when you have 2000 pages.
 
Seems you are doing good with your sites as of now. Keep concentrate on-site SEO and build some quality links. Good luck!!!
 
Build Only Quality links which are related to your Niche.
Don't take any Risk on building low quality PBN links to your site. TY

I recommend, Niche relevant guest post links.
I'm talking about real guest blogging sites,
not other type blogs that built for guest posts.
As soon as you keep building links, you will get to see raise in SERP = More Profit as you expected!
